About

A small test kitchen with a big appetite for the world.

We are four cooks based in central Florida who believe a great recipe is the most generous gift you can give a stranger.

Our story

From a Sunday supper club to a recipe library.

Pinkavo Cafe Recipes started as a Sunday supper club in 2018, when our founder Marisol opened her tiny apartment kitchen to friends willing to cook a different cuisine each weekend. The plates kept getting bigger, the table grew, and the recipes started outliving the dinners.

By 2022 we had a small studio kitchen and a stack of three-ring binders that would not close. We launched the membership in 2024 to share what we had learned with cooks who could not make it to Sunday supper. Two years later, the library has grown to 95 recipes across ten cuisines.

We test every recipe at least three times before it reaches members. We rewrite ingredient lists for US grocery store equivalents, we call out swaps for common allergies, and we read every member email that lands in our inbox.

The team

The four people testing every recipe.

Each recipe in the library passes through three sets of hands before it reaches yours. Here are the people who read every email and answer every recipe question.

M

Marisol Vega

Founder, head of recipes

A former line cook from Miami, Marisol founded the supper club and now leads recipe development. Her favorite category is American Classics, with a special soft spot for fried chicken.

D

Daniel Carver

Test kitchen lead

Daniel runs the second and third tests on every recipe. He grew up baking sourdough in Vermont and writes most of our bread and Italian content. He owns more dutch ovens than is reasonable.

P

Pria Khan

Recipe writer, editor

Pria turns kitchen scribbles into clear, sequenced steps. A trained pastry cook from Mumbai, she leads the desserts section and edits every recipe before it ships to members.

J

Jordan Reyes

Member support, store

Jordan reads every email that lands in member support, curates the kitchen store, and writes the weekly newsletter. They are the reason your questions get answered within a day.
